Lakengren Water Authority is providing an overview of our capital improvements to keep the community informed about the work being done to maintain and enhance our water and sewer systems. This overview highlights the projects we’ve accomplished in recent years as well as those that are still needed in the future, giving residents a clear picture of our ongoing efforts to ensure reliable, high-quality service for the Lakengren community. 

Recent LWA Capital Improvements

· 2019 Dodge Service truck purchased

· Start of Wastewater Treatment plant upgrade 2019

· All assets put into GIS system for locating and logging 2020

· Well #3 Cleaned and well pump replaced 2020

· Painting of East Water Tower inside and out 2021

· Replaced C65 Dump Truck 2021

· Replaced Office Server 2021

· Wastewater Treatment plant upgrade put into service 2021

· Mission Communication systems installed at all Lift Stations and Wastewater Treatment Plant 2022

· Water Plant PLC Replacement 2022

· Wastewater Treatment Plant Concrete Coatings 2022

· Lining of Manholes from Baltic Dr to Mariner Dr 2023

· Wastewater Treatment Plant Lab building roof replaced 2023

· Effluent UV Light treatment system replaced at Wastewater Treatment Plant 2023

· New Generators at Lift Stations #1,2, and 3 in 2023

· Well #4 Cleaned and well pump replaced 2023

· Began design and funding for replacement of all 4 major lift stations 2023

· Valve turning machine purchased 2024

· 2024 Chevy service truck purchased 2024

· Replaced 41 Grinder Steel Cans with Stainless Steel Grinder Cans 2019 to 2025
